Once you have filled in the details for all your products, it is time to create the size charts that will show up for the products on each of their pages.
The size charts page automatically creates a size chart for each possible combination of Brand, Category, Fit, and Gender, for example, MyBrand, Shirts, Slim Fit, and Male. In this case, all products with those attributes will have that size chart displayed on their pages.
SizeBuddy uses two types of size charts:
Body measurements:
Body measurements indicate the measurements of the ideal model for a given size of a specific product. These measurements are most commonly used for size charts and recommended by SizeBuddy. These charts can be generated by having models wear different sizes of your products, and then noting down their body measurements in this chart. For example, if a shoe of size 39 perfectly fits one of your models, then you would measure their foot length and fill this in under the ideal “Foot” length of size 39.
In the case that you use these measurements, SizeBuddy can display an image with a figure indicating how customers can measure these metrics on themselves to identify their perfect fit. This will not be possible when using product measurements.
Product measurements:
Product measurements are measurements of the product itself. For example, the width of a t-shirt. Since there are many ways to measure products, SizeBuddy is unable to show an image for these measurements.
Other examples of product measurements are half-chest, shoe width, shirt length, etc.
Sizing types
Alpha: S, M, L, XL,…
US: 0, 2, 4,…
UK: 4, 6, 8,…
EU: 30, 31, 32,…
For Jeans you should use 31/32, indicating width 31 and length 32. Or you can simply use S, M,… or 31, 32,… if you have no length sizes.
Inches/Centimetres
In your settings page, you can indicate whether your measurements are in inches or centimetres.
